UNDERSTANDING EOR

Before you hire.
A few clear answers.

Do we need to set up a company in Serbia?

An EOR arrangement lets you employ people through Bridge’s local employment service without setting up your own Serbian employing entity. We review whether the arrangement fits your circumstances. Broader corporate and tax obligations depend on your activities and require separate advice.

Who employs the team member, and who manages their work?

Bridge is the local legal employer and manages the employment relationship and its administration. Your company defines the role and leads day-to-day work, performance and collaboration. We agree the practical responsibilities before onboarding.

Can you employ a candidate we have already found?

Yes. You can bring your preferred candidate to Bridge without running a recruitment search. We review their circumstances, the role and the employment requirements before confirming the onboarding steps.

Can Bridge help us find the right people too?

Yes. Recruitment and headhunting are free for candidates employed through Bridge EOR. Salary, statutory employer costs, the EOR Service Fee and applicable Operational Fees remain separate.

What is included in the total employment cost?

Your budget should account for Gross II salary (Gross I plus employer contributions), the EOR Service Fee and applicable Operational Fees. Currency conversion and the applicable FX exchange loss fee also affect the invoice. Our calculator provides an estimate; the Pricing page explains fees, caps, startup terms and volume discounts.

What happens after onboarding?

Bridge continues to administer payroll and support local employment matters, including leave, agreed benefits and employment documentation. If the role or employment relationship needs to change, involve us early so we can review the applicable requirements and next steps with you.

Can EOR support foreign nationals or existing contractors?

We review immigration and work permit requirements where relevant; eligibility and official approvals depend on the individual case. Eligible foreign nationals already operating as registered entrepreneurs in Serbia can also explore our dedicated contractor-to-employment transition service.

How quickly can someone start?

There is no single timeline for every hire. It depends on the role, documentation, agreed terms and whether immigration or work permit steps are needed. We review these details before confirming a realistic onboarding plan.
